Family Support Trust (FST) provides a comprehensive range of free, survivor-centred services aimed at addressing the medical, psychosocial, and legal needs of survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Each service is designed to ensure that survivors receive compassionate, confidential, and professional care in a safe and supportive environment.
Our survivor-friendly clinics and community programmes form the backbone of this support system, helping survivors begin their healing journey while strengthening community capacity to prevent and respond to violence.
Family Support Trust offers comprehensive medical care for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence through its survivor-friendly clinics. Our medical teams conduct detailed examinations and ensure that every survivor receives the appropriate treatment and follow-up care.

All medical services are provided free of charge and are delivered in a survivor-centred manner that prioritises dignity, respect, and confidentiality.
FST recognises that healing from abuse requires more than just physical treatment. Our psychosocial services help survivors rebuild their emotional strength, self-esteem, and resilience after trauma.
Our trained counsellors provide:

These services are available to survivors of all ages and are delivered in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment that promotes long-term well-being.
Family Support Trust plays a vital role in strengthening the capacity of professionals who interact with survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. Through workshops, seminars, and specialised training, FST equips stakeholders with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively and compassionately.
Our training programmes target:
Health professionals (nurses, doctors, counsellors)
Law enforcement officers
Social workers and educators
Community and faith-based leaders
These initiatives promote survivor-centred care, gender-sensitive responses, and multi-sectoral collaboration, ensuring that every survivor who seeks help is met with understanding, professionalism, and coordinated support.

Beyond the clinic setting, FST works directly within communities to raise awareness, challenge harmful norms, and promote positive social change. Guided by the Social Ecological Model, the organisation addresses violence at multiple levels — individual, family, community, and society.
Community engagement activities include:
Through these programmes, FST empowers communities to take ownership of the fight against gender-based violence and become champions for safety, equality, and dignity.
