Title: Project Manager – Gwanda
Project manager – Gwanda
We are looking for a Project Manager to be based in Gwanda overseeing the implementation of activities in Gwanda, Beitbridge, Gweru, Bulilima and Mangwe. The officer will be expected to carry out the above duties;
- Leading in the planning and implementation of project activities.
- Monitoring the progress of programme implementation and take corrective action to ensure that project targets and objectives are met.
- Represent the project in the province.
- Ensure effective use of resources.
- Ensure that periodic reports are well articulated, in time and in the right form.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A Master’s degree in Social work, psychology, sociology or other related areas is a must
- The ability to fluently communicate in Ndebele is a must
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- A driver’s license is a must (more than 1 year)
- Computer literacy is a must

A local nongovernmental organizational that provides medical and psychosocial support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence is looking for a Project Officer to be based in the above districts. The offices will be expected to carry out the above duties;
Duties
- Conduct therapy session for survivors sexual violence
- Assessing the psychosocial support needs of survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and providing the necessary support
- Conduct therapy sessions and empowerment initiatives targeting most vulnerable members of the community.
- Conduct community awareness raising against sexual and gender based violence and early child marriages.
- Representing the organisation at district meetings
- Holding cases conferencing with different stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Social science degree preferably Social Work, Psychology, Sociology
- At least 1year experience working on sexual and gender-based violence
- Driver’s license a must
- Ability to fluently communicate in Ndebele is a must
- Computer literacy a must
